Lots of Random Stuff

 BAT IN THE HOUSE!!!

           Seriously this was a scary! I had to make my little brother come get it because Scott was at school and that bat was crazy!

Next things next, Scott and I went on a super awesome date planned by me :) and this is where I discovered that the boy has a hard time when it comes to making decisions. lol This is just a random video that I  took before our date. For our date we piled a mattress and blankets in the back of my moms truck and took it up the mountains. We watched a kid movie and looked at the stars.

We also made gram-cracker haunted houses.This one was actually Scott's FHE, he did a good job :)

We made patriotic sugar cookies and they were yummy!

This was actually Scott's idea again. He is way into anything political. I don't know what he is going to do after the elections are over he wont have anything to watch anymore.

RAIN RAIN RAIN

                                              We had so much rain that our door started to leak!

Summer Time 

My niece had a birthday so I threw her a little party. This is the cake that I made her. It did not turn out quite as I had hoped, but o well she is 3 and could care less.

New Story

One day Scott and I were at my grandmas house and he was shooting his bow so I started to entertain myself by searching for a four leaf clover. It took a really long time so I thought I would see if there

were any youtube videos on the subject just for fun.

 lol it made me laugh. His secret was to just look through every single one! lol

So I went to work and finally found this sad little one. I was so proud and Scott was not so impressed. He told me that is was so ugly that it was probably unlucky. I argued with him that it made the clover even luckier.

Shortly after I found out that Scott was right. My brother came so I could cut his hair for up coming school. He wanted it just right because he is going into High School. (you know how that goes) Anyways I was not worried because I had done it a million times. Well I blame the un lucky clover.......

                                     

 This is what happened! It was so sad :( the guard fell off out of nowhere, and I did not realize that it fell off. To say the least he was a little upset. Scott, laughing his head off did not help. lol

 Luckily his hair grows fast and we kind of blended it. Within a week you could not tell.

 Lately we have gotten into metal detecting and gold mining. It’s  been fun we just play around.

Catching up 

Well it’s been a while since my last blog so I will catch you up. First things first Trever came to visit a while back. And well I guess we were kind of boring hosts because the most exciting thing the boys found to do was to clean their ears with wax candles. Lol They enjoyed themselves I think?

Next my sister graduated from High School, but mostly I wanted to put this picture up to show off the lei I made her from real flowers! It was my first atempt, and it was really fun to do.

We were so excited to be security guards for the new Johnny Depp movie the Lone Ranger. Well we did not last long for one because we got sick and for another the job was not all it was cracked up to be. We did 12 hour shifts in the middle of nowhere guarding basically dirt. The first couple days no one was even out at the set. There was one day that we did where they were filming but we still did not get much  action.

First day on the job. We are trying out our serious faces :)

Well our shift started at 6 am in the morning so we got to watch the sun rise because we had to leave at 5 am to get there on time. It was really pretty but soon became torture out in the sun!

We covered our car because we were dying from the heat.

This is what base camp looked like for the first two days of work. NO ONE!!!

We did not even get to see Johnny Depp because they locked everything down when they took him to set and put him in a black SUV with tinted windows. RUDE! We did see Army Hammer who plays the lone Ranger and he was way less high maintenance. Scott told him were the set was at and then he drove down on his dirt bike with no helmet, the other people were way too caught up in Johnny. 

Anyways we quit basically because it was a pain working for them and also we got sick and Scott continued to get worse. So...What did we do? Colonoscopy anyone :)

It was a good thing we did this too. He had ulcers way bad all over the place! It turns out he has Ulcerative Colitis. So hopefully we can get him better now. I love my sweetheart and also he is pretty funny on drugs ;)

He is feeling a little bit better so we took a trip to the mountains and went fishing! We had a pretty good time fishing. P.S. only one of those fishes is mine :( the others are my little brothers and Scotts. Also I think my husband would like me to add the fact that he caught the biggest fish :) We cooked them up for dinner.

Getting Settled

Well we finally have a little place of our own! We were so happy to not be in the camp trailer anymore. This new place is not the best, but it’s the cheapest thing we could find and we looked everywhere. To be honest we are lucky we got the place. It’s a two room double wide for 450 a month plus utilities. It’s crazy how expensive it is to rent down here! Before we found our new place the next cheapest thing was a single wide for 650 a month.

This is our front yard. It's nice to have some grass and have it shady most of the day.

When we first moved in all the walls in the house was this sick brown with only one cote, so you could also see every roller mark. NOT PRETTY!

So we went to work painting all the walls a lighter color to brighten the place up!

This is the lighter color but you prb still can't tell becaue it was kind of dark in the house when I took them. lol O well you get the picture.

 This is our bedroom, it's still the dark brown beceause we ran out of paint. Also our landry room, dont worry those are clean cloths that I had just taken out of the dryer.

This is our nice yellow and white kitchen the counter are somthin else ;)   

This is a picture of our second breakfast in our new house! Our first breakfast I actually  had left over boxes from moving so we ate on those. Then I threw them away so we had to eat on the floor :)

We also have no microwave which has proved to be quite the annoyance . This is Scott warming up some leftovers :) also when I watch my sister in the day time I get to warm her bottles up over the stove. I really feel like an old fashion house wife then lol

FIRST BBQ!

 Yep we had a little family BBQ and it was pretty fun. My good friends freezer went out which was sad for them, but good for us. They called and made us come get everything. So we had some rib eye steak.

 Travis was the only one who showed up! Where were the rest of you??? lol We were glad that he was down for work, we were just happy to have some company. Thanks Travis

 Finished product! We actually found a fold up table for the occasion so that we looked civil.
